Safeguarding & Child Welfare

At Sutton Little League, the safeguarding and welfare of all children, young people and adults at risk is our main priority. This is our focus in every decision that we make within the league, always putting Safeguarding and Welfare at the forefront.

Safeguarding

Sutton Little League, works with the National Little League Football Committee and Surrey County FA to ensure that all our volunteers both is team management roles and committee roles have all got a completed in date, FA DBS Criminal Record Check. Also along side this we mandate that all our volunteers complete the FA EE Playmaker Course and our League Committee members must complete the FA Safeguarding for Committee Members course.

Welfare & Medical

The welfare and safety of everyone in the league is our main focus, as such we work with St John's Ambulance to ensure that we have medical cover available every single match day to ensure that there is always someone qualified to look after the children should they need it.
